The route to glowing skin isn’t just the products you apply, it also comes from the inside out. That's why I try to incorporate as many skin-friendly ingredients into my diet as possible and smoothies are an easy way to do that.
Banana, cherry, coconut and rose water all contain antioxidants and vitamins that help to keep your skin looking youthful. Both the cherries and the coconut water give this smoothie an exciting flavour and the rose water is optional, but it adds a lovely floral note. If, like me, you like to make your food look as good as it tastes – scatter some rose petals on top to add some elegance.

Serves: 1
Ingredients:
- 1 ripe banana, cut into pieces
- A handful of cherries (frozen)
- 200 ml coconut water
- 1 tbsp rose water (optional)
- 1 tsp rose petals (optional)
Steps:
- Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour your smoothie into a pretty glass and decorate with the rose petals, if desired.
