How to Use

When you light the candle for the first time, let it burn for at least 3-4 hours to melt the top layer for an even burn

Answers from our experts

Why do the 840g candles have the same burning time as the 1,000g candles?

Our 1,000g candles usually burn for about 80 hours, but sometimes a bit less, so we advertise them as lasting 70 hours to be safe. The 1,000g candles have stronger wicks because they cover a bigger surface area. These wicks burn more wax per hour compared to the 840g candles, so even though they're smaller, the 840g candles burn for a similar amount of time. This is mainly why they have similar burning times, although it is also influenced by the fragrances used.
Our scented candles are wonderful to use for a moment of peace and relaxation. This is how to ensure that you can get the maximum enjoyment from your candle: To allow the top layer to melt equally, we advise you to allow the candle to burn for a minimum of two hours consecutively on first use. Your candle burns best in a place with little airflow, this ensures that the candle burns as evenly as possible. Also ensure that a minimum of one centimetre of wax remains in the candle, to ensure that the glass does not overheat and risks breaking. Never leave a lit candle unattended.
Place your empty candle jar in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, then remove the remaining wax. Use a paper towel to clean out the smaller pieces of wax.
