Somatic yoga flow to connect body and mind

Cultivate a deeper connection to yourself with this explorative and intuitive moment on the mat.

The term somatic means ‘relating to the body’ and this flow is designed to help you cultivate a deeper connection between your body and mind. This flow is not about external appearance or a specific result, but really about being in tune with your body and experiencing – mindfully – the sensations of the movements.

During the session, and as you move through the flow, I encourage you to really focus on and notice the subtle sensations that you feel in your body. Bringing the awareness of your mind to the mat.

Feel free to follow the cues I offer or, if you feel it, flow with whatever your body is craving. Somatic practices are all about moving slowly, being explorative and paying attention to listening deeply to the wisdom of your body.

Karli Orazi

Karli was born and raised in the desert in Western Australia, and now lives in Amsterdam. During moments of transition, her meditation teacher would always say “home is in the heart, home is here and now, be simple, be home” Her yoga practice helps her to find home, in the body, in the breath, wherever she lands.
Her teaching style is warm & compassionate. She approaches yoga from a physiological and psychological perspective. Exploring effort & ease in stillness & movement.
Karli believes that creating daily rituals with yoga can help us to participate in the world with more humility, compassion and presence, & to find more balance & equanimity in our daily life.
