A guided meditation for sweet dreams

Deborah Quibell guides you through a calming body scan and follows up with a proven technique for lucid dreaming.

When it comes to dreaming, being interested is one of the most important steps, according to our Unlock Your Dreams Masterclass expert Machiel Klerk (you can join our free masterclass on the Rituals app here). If you want to dream and are focused on that goal, then it will likely happen.

Another way to help you access your dreams is via meditation and, in this recording, Deborah Quibell guides you through a calming body scan to help you relax from the day. She then takes you through a lucid dreaming technique called MILD, an intention-setting exercise that helps you – once dreaming – realise you’re in a dream. This recognition is known as being lucid. Once you’re in that state, you can take control of your dreams and do what Klerk calls ‘experiments’ whether that’s fun things like flying, or self-development exercises like asking your dream for guidance perhaps for a business idea or romantic advice.

But first, all you need to do is lie back, relax and let our meditation help you drift off into an incredible night of dreams.
