Soothing Bathing Ceremony
Start the ceremony by lighting a fragrant candle. Breathing in the scents will help calm your nervous system. Turn on your tap to a comfortable, warm setting and run a bath or step into the shower. Choose a light scrub to rid your skin of unwanted dead cells. Leave for a while and then rinse off with the warm jets of the shower, or let your bathwater absorb the oil.
Do a small mindfulness exercise in the bath by focusing on the candle, visualising how you breathe in and out the candle’s warmth with each breath.
